The best time is March to June (pleasant weather) and October to December (clear mountain views). Avoid peak monsoon (July–September) due to landslides.
Nathula Pass is optional. It remains closed on Mondays and permits depend on weather and availability.

Entry fees, camera charges, and Toy Train Joy Ride in Darjeeling are not included unless specified.
All transfers are by private vehicle. Roads are scenic but winding, especially between Gangtok, Pelling, and Darjeeling.
